Oliver Krumes is a highly experienced street photographer with a unique eye for capturing the beauty of everyday life. He has been teaching street photography workshops in both Munich and Berlin for years, inspiring dozens of students to see the world through a different lens.
Why choose my 1:1 Street Photography Workshops?
My 1:1 workshops are designed for photographers of all levels, from beginners to experienced Street Photographers. I believe that anyone can benefit from coaching and guidance, especially when it comes to a creative craft like street photography. My workshops are not your typical classroom setting – we take you out into the streets of Munich and, showing you the ins and outs of capturing authentic moments in the city. I will show you my favorite spots, you will learn how to frame a street photo, what your camera settings should be and how to interact with people without fear.
What will you learn?
During my workshops, i will share my extensive knowledge and experience in street photography, covering topics such as composition, lighting, and storytelling through images. You will also learn about the technical aspects of your camera and how to use them to your advantage in capturing stunning shots.
What do you need?
Preferably a small compact digital camera where you can adjust ISO, Shutter speed and aperture manually. A smartphone or an analog camera works, too.
Munich Street Photography Workshop
My Munich workshop takes place in the heart of the city, where you will have endless opportunities to capture the vibrant culture and architecture. I will guide you through famous landmarks such as Marienplatz, Hofgarten, Maximiliansstraße and the English Garden, while also taking you off the beaten path to discover hidden gems.
Berlin Street Photography Workshop
My Berlin workshop is a unique experience as we explore the diverse neighborhoods of this dynamic city. From historical sites like the Brandenburg Gate to trendy districts like Kreuzberg, there is no shortage of interesting subjects for your lens. I will also share tips on how to approach and photograph strangers in public, a key element of street photography.
